The Register has a story about a recent subpoena sent to MIT by the RIAA. MIT has refused to comply with the subpoena for the time being. Yay!

In other Linux news, this article at The Register indicates that Red Hat will soon be dropping distribution of their Linux via shrinkwrapped boxes in retail outlets.
According to this article at InformationWeek, it appears that SCO is after every nickel and dime they can get. SCO is now threatening LINUX end-users that until they purchase a UnixWare license, they are running an "unlicensed" copy of LINUX.

The Register has a report from gamesindustry.biz that indicates that while Xbox is ahead of Nintendo in the console market, it sure as heck isn't by more than a slim margin... The Xbox's biggest market is the US (not surprising) and Nintendo's biggest market is Japan (again, not surprising). And, it goes to show again that Sony is still the king in every market.

But, really, it doesn't matter much to me since I have all three! Yay!
